Someone once asked me what I thought my purpose was. I’ve worn many hats, but the one that sticks is:

Artistic Encourager.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Beyond photography and art I am a wife, mother of 3,  lover of dark chocolate and traveling. Someday I’ll see all these beautiful states(bucket list)!  My husband and I have been together for over 25 years and have supported each other both as individual entrepreneurs and life partners; through the good, bad and ugly.  I could not ask for a more supportive family.

From a young age I knew art would always be a part of my life. Illustrations for me started as a child and continues to this day. In 1993 I was captivated by my first “official” photography class and I fell in love.  For the next 5 years I continued to further my knowledge of the arts and graduated from Kansas State University.  Soon after graduation I started my own Graphic Design business in which I ran for many years. Photography started as a hobby and aided me in my graphic design business. Illustrations have been an outlet and continues to be. 

My life has been full of capturing moments, beauty, life, emotions, and expressing through painting, drawing, teaching.

It brings me joy.

I am blessed.
